Distillery's Philip Simpson in action against Stephen Carson
Glenn Ferguson's 64th-minute goal was enough to give Lisburn Distillery victory away to struggling Coleraine.
After Coleraine had missed a string of chances, Ferguson tucked away a close-range chance after Andrew Hunter's long-throw had been knocked on.
Distillery had a great chance to make it 2-0 but Gary Liggett saw his stoppage-time penalty saved by home goalkeeper David O'Hare.
The spot-kick was given for Aaron Canning's challenge on Liggett.
The result leaves Coleraine still rooted to the bottom of the Carling Premiership table without a goal or a point.
They should have scored several times in the first half but Gareth Harkin hit the woodwork and had two shots deflected away while Kyle McVey headed over twice.
