Glentoran have announced that all the players whose wages had been overdue have now been paid.
The club's vice-chairman Stafford Reynolds said media reports that full-time players had not been paid for five weeks were inaccurate.
"We pay our players monthly, so to say they went five weeks without being paid is an exaggeration," he said.
"We had a cash flow problem which was explained to the players. We could have perhaps communicated better with them."
Glentoran officials met with the players after Thursday night's Europa League qualifying round second leg against KR Reykjavick.
The Irish League side drew 2-2 at the Oval, which meant they lost 5-2 on aggregate.
"It was a positive meeting. The players said what they wanted to say, and we were able to put our points across as well," added Reynolds.
"We are a united club and I am looking forward to a good season ahead.
"We explained the delay in our payment and that was well understood.
"It is a difficult climate and we have to manage our finances as best we can."
