Former Linfield and Glentoran striker Chris Morgan has moved from Newry City to Dungannon Swifts.

The 34-year-old will not be registered in time for Saturday's Irish Cup game against Malachians but he will be at Stangmore Park to watch his new team.

"We didn't just sign him as a great player - we are getting a great person," said Swifts assistant manager Darren Murphy.

"He brings firepower and experience - it is a real boost for us."
