Alain Emerson hit a hat-trick as the Swifts took a grip of the Co-operative Insurance Cup quarter-final.
Emerson headed in the opener from a free-kick and fired home from Ryan McIlmoyle's corner before heading in the third after 36 minutes.
Austin Friel's free-kick gave Institute hope but Marc McCann and Michael Ward struck to make it 5-1.
David Ogilby netted a second goal for the visitors before McCann made it six for a rampant Dungannon side.
