Glentoran win 3-2 at Glenavon to progress in the Co-operative Cup
Glentoran regrouped from Saturday's rout by Coleraine to beat Glenavon 5-4 on aggregate after a 3-2 away win at Mourneview in the Co-Operative Cup.
Glenavon levelled twice with Stuart King and Gary Liggett cancelling out Keith Gillespie and Colin Nixon goals.
However, Dean Fitzgerald scored Glentoran's winner on 60 minutes.
Holders Portadown beat Crusaders 4-3 to earn a 6-4 aggregate win with Kevin Braniff, Tim Mouncey, Alan Teggart and Richard Leckey on target for the Ports.
Braniff put Portadown ahead on 10 minutes at Clandeboye Park but the Crues, playing their home leg at the Bangor venue because of the building of their new synthetic pitch at Seaview, were on terms four minutes later thanks to David Rainey's strike.
Jordan Owens headed the Crues ahead on 31 minutes but goals from Mouncey (42), Teggart (57) and Leckey (82) ensured Portadown's victory despite Chris Morrow's late penalty (90).
Gillespie put the Glens ahead after 10 minutes at Mourneview Park with a superb goal with the outside of his right foot.
Stuart King levelled for Glenavon with a thunderous free-kick from 40 yards which crashed in off the underside of the crossbar.
Nixon restored Glentoran's lead on 49 minutes and while Gary Liggett equalised 10 minutes later, Dean Fitzgerald immediately restored the East Belfast club's advantage.
Linfield squeezed through on the away goals rule after a 0-0 home draw against Newry City.

Curtis Allen came closest to breaking the deadlock with a first-half shot which hit the woodwork.
Newry keeper Neil Gallagher denied Allen and Michael Carvill in the second half but Stuart Addis made fine stops at the other end to deny Andy Graham and Alan Davidson.
Linfield's win did come at a cost as Jim Ervin was stretchered off in the first half with an apparent leg injury.
Cliftonville progressed on a 3-1 aggregate scoreline against Donegal Celtic after a 2-1 home victory at Solitude.

Ryan McIlmoyle put Dungannon ahead on 40 minutes but Johnny Montgomery's own-goal levelled proceedings two minutes later.
Lee Thompson then put Larne ahead a minute into the second half but two Shane Coney goals (63 and 83) and a James Slater goal (78) put Dungannon in control of the tie.
Davy Larmour pulled a goal back for Larne five minutes from time but Fergal McAllister completed the scoring for Dungannon in injury-time.
In the two third round first leg ties played on Tuesday, Andy Kilmartin's goal gave Lisburn Distillery a 1-0 home win over Coleraine at New Grosvenor while Ballinamallard United drew 0-0 against Limavady United.
