Stephen Parkhouse struck in the final minute to give Institute a draw in the Carling Premiership encounter.

Rory Patterson put Coleraine in front on 24 minutes with a fine finish after good work from Darren Boyce.

Austin Friel levelled six minutes later with a turn and shot into the corner but Boyce poked home after 79 minutes to restore Coleraine's lead.

Institute snatched a point when Parkhouse sent a looping header over Davy O'Hare and into the net.

The hosts were first to threaten when Declan Divin's deflected shot was saved by O'Hare.

Boyce wasted an excellent chance just before the break with his volley was tipped over by Gavin Cullen.

Institute substitute Jason Blackburn headed over from eight yards early in the second half.

It is a vital point for Institute, who are now seven points clear of basement club Lisburn Distillery.
