Lisburn Distillery win away to Newry thanks to a late Glenn Ferguson penalty
Glenn Ferguson's late winner gave the Whites a second straight Carling Premiership victory.
City's Andy Graham headed wide from a Kevin Keegan cross in a poor first half of few chances.
Distillery midfielder Andy Kilmartin struck the crossbar before Ferguson netted from an 88th penalty after Gareth Corey was fouled in the area.
"Two wins on the bounce is a great lift - it was scrappy but thankfully we got the late penalty," said Ferguson.
The Whites remain bottom but are now just four points adrift under new boss Tommy Wright.
"Tommy has done a great job and has brought a lot of professionalism to the club," added Ferguson.
