Dixie Robinson's side drew a blank at Stangmore Park

Dungannon Swifts and Newry City played out a scoreless draw at Stangmore Park.

Marc McCann was denied by Andy Coleman, Darren Cassidy dragged a shot wide, Alvin Rouse saved from Chris Morgan and Kevin Keegan fired narrowly over.

Timmy Adamson went close with a couple of headers, one cleared off the line by Emmett Friars, before having to leave the fray with an injury.

Ryan Mullan, Shane Coney and Ryan McIlmoyle all had second-half efforts cleared off the line by Newry.

Niall Henderson managed to block Mullan's attempt, Emmett Friars cleared from Coney's shot, Henderson shot wide and Neil McCafferty went close.
