Highlights as Portadown defeat Glenavon 2-0 at Shamrock Park.
Goals from Tim Mouncey and Richard Leckey gave Portadown victory over Glenavon in the Mid-Ulster derby.
Mouncey netted a good header from Alan Taggert's dangerous left-wing cross in the ninth minute.
Six minutes from time substitute Leckey swivelled to fire in from close-range from Gary McCutcheon's pass.
Glenavon had chances, especially through Willo McDonagh and James Costello, but fell to their third defeat of the Premiership campaign.
Tim Mouncey scored an early goal for Portadown
It was a bit of an off-day for the Mourneview men but it was an important success for Ronnie McFall's Ports as before today they had just one win in seven and were two from bottom in the league table.
This success takes Portadown over Coleraine and into ninth on goal difference.
The Ports had other opportunities with skipper John Convery shooting off the crossbar in the first half and Leckey heading against an upright from just a couple of yards.
