Glenavon and Portadown shared the spoils in an entertaining Mid-Ulster derby clash in the Carling Premiership.
Tony Grant fired the Lurgan Blues ahead after only 50 seconds as he connected with a Stuart King free-kick but John Convery levelled on 26 minutes.
Willo McDonagh headed the home side into the lead again on 60 minutes after an Alan Harpur cross.
However, Braniff atoned for an earlier glaring miss by turning and firing a low shot past Tuda Murphy on 71.
Grant gave the Lurgan Blues the perfect start by putting them ahead after only 50 seconds, with his second goal in as many games.
The Dubliner had a chance to extend Glenavon's lead in the 13th minute but Ports keeper David Miskelly bravely saved at the striker's feet.
Portadown should have levelled a minute later but Braniff contrived to knee over from only three yards after Convery's header across goal.
However, the Ports got on terms on 26 minutes as Convery finished to the net at the backpost after a low cross from Braniff.
Glenavon regained the lead on 61 as McDonagh powered a header past Miskelly after a lobbed cross from Harpur.
Braniff atoned for his earlier miss as he levelled on 71 minutes after being allowed to turn and fire past Tuda Murphy.
