David Platt's side earned their first Setanta Cup point
Coleraine and Glentoran played out a scoreless draw in Saturday's Setanta Sports Cup game at the Showgrounds.
In the first half Andy Waterworth headed wide and Gary Hamilton had a right-foot volley saved by Davy O'Hare, while Jody Tolan also went close.
After the break Hamilton was denied by O'Hare and James Taylor produced two fine saves from Eunan O'Kane, the first after a fine mazy run by O'Kane.
Michael Halliday flashed a close range header just over late in the game.
The Glens were without winger Keith Gillespie, who failed a fitness test before the game while O'Hare returned to the Coleraine goal.
Grant Gardiner fired in the corner for Waterworth to go close with an early header and after Hamilton had his chance, Tolan's effort was comfortably dealt with by James Taylor.
After Hamilton was unable to convert his header, O'Kane dribbled his way through the Glens defence and his right-foot shot was fingertipped past the post by Taylor.
Taylor then made a fine stop from O'Kane, after the Northern Ireland Milk Cup Elite Section winner got on the end of a flick-on from Rory Patterson.
The Glens have one point from their first two Setanta games while Coleraine have one from one.
