Linfield continue their recovery in the Carling Premiership as they earn a 2-1 win over Institute at Drumahoe
Linfield secured a vital three points at Drumahoe thanks to Mark McAllister's first-half goal and a 61st minute penalty by defender Jim Ervin.
McAllister's header from 10 yards out, from a Robert Garrett corner, trundled in at the back post on the half hour.
Substitute Jason Blackburn levelled on 46 minutes when he beat the offside trap and turned the ball past Alan Blayney from a Paul Brown through ball.
Ervin netted from the spot after Mark Scoltock brought down Michael Gault.
John Gregg was sent from the dugout in the 70th minute and Philip Lowry squandered a great chance to increase the Blues' advantage late on but he dragged his shot wide.
