Stephen Carson's goal secures success at Solitude
Coleraine's international winger Stephen Carson got the only goal of the game at Solitude where understrength Cliftonville ended with nine men.
Carson curled in a left-foot shot from about 20 yards after a Stephen Dooley ball five minutes into the second half.
Ciaran Caldwell was dismissed for a lunging tackle on former Cliftonville man Jody Tolan.
The north Belfast Reds then lost Ryan Catney when he received a second yellow card in stoppage-time.
