Philip Carson was a long-term target for Walker

Ballymena United manager Roy Walker has strengthened his midfield for next season by signing Philip Carson, Darren Lockhart and Noel Anderson.

Carson, who was recently placed on the transfer list by Glentoran, has joined the Sky Blues on a two-year deal.

The experienced Lockhart and Anderson are moving to United from Bangor and they have signed one-year deals.

Walker signed Lockhart during his time at Crusaders while Anderson is back at the club where he started his career.
