Roy Walker's Ballymena edged closer to safety with a win over Bangor
Ballymena leapfrogged Bangor in the JJB Premiership by beating the Seasiders 2-0 at the Showgrounds on Friday night.
Paul Muir tapped in from six yards out after Michael Ward had flicked on Kevin Kelbie's free-kick after 22 minutes.
David Cushley extended the lead on 61 minutes, following up and slotting the ball beyond Ryan Brown after the keeper had kept out Kelbie's 18-yard shot.
Michael Smith, Cushley and Kelbie had other chances while Dominic Melly and Darren Lockhart went close for Bangor.
Smith's 22-yard free-kick on 53 minutes was just off-target while Lockhart saw his shot saved by Blayney.
A Melly header hit the crossbar, Cushley shot over the bar minutes after scoring his goal, and Brown denied Kelbie.
Aidan Watson found the net but the referee ruled that the ball had gone out for a corner.
