Derry City were held to a scoreless draw by Shamrock Rovers in Friday night's League of Ireland Premier Division game at the Brandywell.
The result sees the Candystripes remain in third position in the league table, just ahead of Michael O'Neill's side on goal difference.
Mark Farren missed the best chance of the game, flashing his shot wide after racing onto Thomas Stewart's flick-on.
Derry keeper Ger Doherty made several fine saves to deny Rovers victory.
Cork City are top, seven points ahead of Derry, with Bohemians still second.
On Friday night Cork won 2-0 at Bray Wanderers, Bohs beat Drogheda 1-0 and St Pat's Athletic won 1-0 at Dundalk.
