Niall Henderson scored straight from a corner in the 95th minute to earn Newry a dramatic 2-1 win over Bangor.
Richard Clarke had given City a 30th-minute lead with a low drive from 20 yards while Chris Morgan lobbed over and was denied by Ryan Brown.
Marty Verner had several chances and Andy Morrow and Dean Youle also went close for the struggling Seasiders.
Morrow brought Bangor level with a lob three minutes into added time before Henderson struck two minutes later.
Early in the game Stephen Ferguson's low drive drifted wide and Henderson grazed the upright with his effort.
Morrow was close with a header and Youle had an attempt cleared off the line before Clarke scored and Morgan almost extended the advantage.
Verner headed straight at goalkeeper Andy Coleman just before half-time.
Verner failed to connect with a good cross in the second half, Coleman beat Aaron McKee to the ball and Verner then fired wide.
Bangor thought they had secured a point with Morrow's goal but Henderson had the final word.
