David Scullion has agreed a move from Glentoran to Derry City
Derry City have signed Glentoran winger David Scullion on a contract which will cover the 2009 Eircom League season.
The Candystripes announced the capture of the Glens star on Monday, the final day for signings to be eligible for the start of the Premier Division campaign.
Scullion signed for Glentoran from Dungannon in June 2007 and his sudden departure may surprise Glens fans.
The new signing will be in the Derry squad for Tuesday's friendly against North-West neighbours Finn Harps.
Derry start their league programme with a home match against Drogheda United on Friday, 6 March.
