Institute boosted their chances of a top-six place by beating Lisburn Distillery 2-1 at Ballyskeagh.
In the second minute Austin Friel took advantage of an underhit backpass from Wayne Buchanan, taking the ball wide of Philip Matthews before shooting home.
Curtis Allen equalised on 66 minutes when Stuart Thompson fired a shot into the crowded penalty area and Allen scored after the ball fell to him.
Sean Roddy netted with a 30-yard free-kick which deceived Matthews after 73.
After Friel's opener, Ryan Semple fired wide of the post with a long-range effort and Distillery's Andy Kilmartin was also off-target at the other end.
Gary Browne shot straight at the goalkeeper before the break but Allen made no mistake in the second half.
Roddy's winning long-range free-kick flew over the defensive wall and into the net after Matthews appeared to be unsighted.
