Paul Kirk's Lisburn Distillery team were good value for their victory
Lisburn Distillery produced an impressive display to account for Institute in Saturday's JJB Sports Premiership clash at Drumahoe.
Ryan McCann hit the Stute woodwork and Pat McShane and Curtis Allen also went close before Darren Armour put the Whites ahead from a penalty.
Armour's 24th-minute penalty came after James Quigley fouled Andy Kilmartin.
Gary Muir's great pass set up Allen for the second goal on 45 minutes and the Whites comfortably held on to win.
The home team were unable to summon up much in the way of a fightback in the second half with substitute Paul Brown going closest with an effort which hit the sidenetting.
Institute's prospects weren't helped when they were reduced to 10 men on 70 minutes after Eamon Seydak was forced off because of injury.
Manager John Gregg had already introduced all his three substitutes by that stage of the game.
