Darren Boyce has agreed to return to Coleraine from Glentoran

Darren Boyce has left Glentoran to rejoin Coleraine and could feature in the Bannsiders' Premiership game with Lisburn Distillery on Thursday.

Coleraine chairman Hugh Wade said: "We have successfully completed a deal.

"Hopefully the paperwork can be sorted out in time to clear him for inclusion in the squad against Distillery."

Boyce said he was frustrated by his lack of first team games - although he made 37 appearances since arriving from Coleraine in January.

The 21-year-old was contracted until 2011 but Wade revealed Coleraine had negotiated a fee with his Oval counterpart Aubrey Ralph on Tuesday.

Showgrounds manager David Platt said: "Darren was keen to return and he is a welcome addition to the panel. Hopefully we can obtain clearance for him quickly."

Platt is also still chasing a striker although Boyce's ability to score goals - he has hit seven in 13 games this season - will be a major plus for a team which has not managed a win in the last 10 games.
