Dungannon 3-6 Crusaders

Crusaders players celebrate
Crusaders players congratulate Davy Magowan

Crusaders ended a three-match losing streak in the league by trouncing Dungannon who now prop up the division.

Davy Magowan headed the opener on 22 minutes but Terry Fitzpatrick had a shot deflected past Chris Keenan on 24.

Martin Donnelly volleyed past Dwayne Nelson after 39 and Alain Emerson made it 3-1 on 52 with a powerful header.

Mark McAllister scored a 61st-minute penalty, Mark Dickson slid home on 66 but Dwayne McManus replied on 67 before Jordan Owens netted after 75 and 83.

Timmy Adamson laid the ball off for Fitzpatrick in the early moments of the game but his shot was easily dealt with by Keenan.

Donnelly's lob went narrowly over the bar and Gary Smyth, celebrating his 39th birthday, headed over the bar.

Donnelly supplied the free-kick for Magowan to open the scoring and, as it turned out, the floodgates.

The Swifts were awarded their penalty after McManus was upended by Colin Coates but the best goal of the game came when Dickson went on a mazy run, beat three defenders and scored.

McAllister set up McManus for his close-range finish and Gareth McKeown provided the ammunition for substitute Owens to score his first.
