Cunningham took over as Dungannon boss in mid-October

Dungannon Swifts manager John Cunningham has made his first signing with Finn Harps midfielder Neil McCafferty moving to Stangmore Park.

Midfielder McCafferty spent five years at Charlton Athletic and has more recently been with Derry City.

The 24-year-old signed after training with the squad on Monday night.

Dungannon look likely to lose JP Gallagher as Linfield are understood to have submitted a five-figure sum for the left-back.
