A 61st minute goal by Neil Harkin gave Institute a 1-0 win at Mourneview Park.

In the first half, Tony Grant drilled a shot against the bar and Trevor Molloy fired just wide while Sean Roddy saw a free-kick flash wide of the post.

Roddy released Harkin for the goal and he flashed a low shot across the goal and into the corner of the net.

Paul Carvill flashed a free-kick over the bar, Robert Robinson saved bravely from Philip Lowry and Paul Brown had an effort cleared off the line.

Hugh Dickson prevented Brown from scoring and extending Institute's lead.
