Late goals by Gary Fitzpatrick and substitute David Irvine gave Bangor a 2-0 win at Dungannon on Tuesday night.
Andrew Plummer saved Rodney McAree's penalty on 13 minutes while a Dominic Melly 35-yard free-kick was pushed round the post by Dwayne Nelson on 31.
Fitzpatrick headed in from a Marty Verner corner after 81 minutes, his second goal in two matches.
Verner then provided the through ball for Irvine to go past the goalkeeper and slot home from six yards on 85.
McAree missed his early spot-kick after Marc McCann had been fouled by Dean Youle inside the area.
