Glentoran's Jason Hill at full stretch during the Stangmore Park game

The Glens moved up to second place in the JJB Sports Premiership with this win at Stangmore Park.

Striker Gary Hamilton put the visitors ahead on 13 minutes with a close-range finish from Daryl Fordyce's pass.

Colin Nixon doubled the lead from the penalty spot two minutes later after Fordyce was fouled by Adam McMinn.

Timmy Adamson headed in on 30 minutes to make it 2-1 and while Dungannon pressed in the second half it was the Glens who created the best openings.
