Portadown will take a narrow 2-1 lead into the second leg of their CIS Cup second round tie against Larne.

Kevin Braniff and Tim Mouncey were the goalscorers at Shamrock Park and the second leg of the tie will be played at Inver Park on Wednesday night.

Also on Saturday, Ards defeated Limavady United 2-1 and Loughgall won 3-1 at Banbridge Town.

Carrick Rangers and Ballyclare drew 1-1 at Taylor's Avenue and Ballinamallard beat Glebe 1-0 in the Championship.
