However, Tommy McCallion volleyed a glorious equaliser a minute after the break for rejuvenated Coleraine.
Richard Gibson missed a chance for Coleraine and Kyle McVey's penalty was then saved by Chris Keenan. Jordan Owens struck the winner on 77 minutes.

Coleraine continued to look the better side but Kyle McVey missed a great chance to put the visitors ahead when Keenan saved his 66th-minute penalty.
Substitute Owen headed the Crusaders winner 13 minutes from time.
