Ryan McCluskey has left Dungannon Swifts to join Portadown after lengthy negotiations between the clubs.
The Fermanagh GAA star had indicated a desire to leave Stangmore Park and a deal to take him to the Championship side was hammered out on Monday.
McCluskey had not played for Dungannon since Christmas because of injuries, a car crash and then GAA commitments.
The deal sees highly rated teenage striker Stefan Keegan join Dungannon, with Swifts also collecting some money.
"Ryan had all summer to show a desire to play for the club but that did not happen and I only want players who want to play for the club," said Dungannon manager Harry Fay.
"I would like to wish Ryan all the best with his new club," he added.
