Aaron Black celebrates after scoring one of his two goals

Crusaders lie top of the Premiership table thanks to two first-half goals by close season acquisition Aaron Black.

Black scored from six yards out from a Martin Donnelly corner on 11 minutes while Robert Robinson saved from Mark Dickson and David Rainey went close.

Black again met a Donnelly corner on the half hour to double the lead.

After the break, Tony Grant was just off-target for Glenavon and Trevor Molloy had two good efforts while Mark Dickson almost scored with a free-kick.
