Saturday's JJB Premiership programme has been badly disrupted as torrential downpours forced three matches to be abandoned and two postponed.

Champions Linfield were 1-0 up at home to Cliftonville when the game was halted after 32 minutes.

It was 0-0 at the Oval when Glentoran's match against Glenavon was stopped and Newry City were 1-0 up on Coleraine when the ref took the teams off.

The games at Ballymena and Dungannon were called off before kick-off.

Institute's match against Crusaders at Drumahoe has gone ahead.
