Linfield have strengthened their attack by signing Northern Ireland youth international Michael Carvill.
The 20-year-old striker played 14 times for Wrexham before being released by the Welsh club in May.
Windsor Park boss David Jeffrey needs new forwards after Peter Thompson, Thomas Stewart and Mark Dickson all left the league champions.
The Blues increased their offer for Ballymena United striker Kevin Kelbie to 25,000 earlier this week.
This was despite Ballymena insisting their star attacker is not for sale.
Linfield have already had an offer of 20,000 turned down and Kelbie handed in a transfer request last weekend.
New Ballymena boss Roy Walker said they were not willing to let Kelbie go.
"He is priceless to us. I have spoken to the board and they fully support me," he said.
Carvill, who came through the youth system at Charlton Athletic, was released by Wrexham following their relegation to non-league football.
