Alan Mannus is expecting to be busy against Dinamo Zagreb
Linfield goalkeeper Alan Mannus says his side were handed "the toughest possible draw" for the Champions League first qualifying round.
The Irish League champions will face Croatian outfit Dinamo Zagreb, with the first leg due to be at home on 15/16 July, and the return leg a week later.
"It is going to be a tough tie as that is the most difficult draw for us.
"You know you are going to face a team that is a step above you but a slightly easier draw would have been nice."
"We did alright at the same stage against Elfsborg last year and could have beaten them so if we play as well as that, we have a chance of going through.
"Dinamo Zagreb are a big team with some well known players so hopefully it will attract a big crowd to Windsor Park.
"As a goalkeeper, you always expect to be busy against a team of that quality and that is something I look forward to," added the Northern Ireland international.
The winners of the tie will face Dudelange of Luxembourg or Domzale of Slovenia in the second round.
Eircom Premier League champions Drogheda United have been drawn against Estonian side Levadia.
