Trevor Molloy and Keith O'Hara in committed action

Substitute Stephen McCain came off the bench to curl a shot past David Miskelly and claim the points for Glenavon in the mid-Ulster derby.

David Miskelly was on form for the Ports, tipping over a Paul Carvill shot and then saving from Trevor Molloy.

Miskelly again did well after the break, saving from Molloy's header.

Portadown had their chances too, Wesley Boyle heading wide and Andy Smith missing from close range, both in the first half.
