Tommy McCallion and Johnny Topley challenge for the ball
Irish Cup finalists Coleraine handed out a thumping to awful Portadown in Saturday's Carnegie Premier League clash at Shamrock Park.
Tommy McCallion ran unchallenged from halfway to stroke Coleraine into the lead on 17 minutes.
Stephen Dooley quickly volleyed Coleraine's second and the Ports gifted further goals to Stephen Carson and Davy Patton before half-time.
Marc McCann pulled back a Ports goal but Marty Hunter completed the scoring.
Portadown appeared disinterested in the opening period and Coleraine, confident after their cup semi-final win in midweek, punished the home team's lack of motivation.
McCallion fired in Coleraine's opener as he was able to run from halfway before slotting the ball home from the edge of the penalty area.
Dooley rammed home Coleraine's second goal three minutes later and Portadown had failed to clear a Stephen Carson cross.
A defensive mix-up involving John Convery and Philip Craig gifted Coleraine's third goal as Carson lobbed home.
Aime Koudou, Andy Smith and Jonny Topley wasted chances to pull a goal back for the Ports and the home team's first-half horror show was completed when Neil Armstrong dropped a cross and Davy Patton slotted home on 34 minutes.
A poor Coleraine clearance enabled Marc McCann to pull a goal back for Portadown a minute after the break but Marty Hunter's 66th-minute header restored the Bannsiders' four-goal margin.
