Rory Hamill went close with a volley for DC

In the first half, Sean Armstrong went close for DC and Paul Murphy denied Davy Munster while Garth Scates hit the bar and Davitt Walsh had a good chance.

Stephen McAlorum and Armstrong had second-half opportunities for the visitors, who were playing at the venue for the third time in a week.

Murphy was again the hero for the Sky Blues when he produced a spectacular save from a Rory Hamill volley.
