 Ross Black scored Larne's first goal against Newry City |
Larne won for the first time since the opening day of the Carnegie Premier League campaign but stay bottom of the table on goal difference. They went into the lead in the 14th minute through Ross Black's header.
Newry's Michael Collins saw a shot strike the bar before Larne made it 2-0 when Glen Hand pounced after City keeper Andy Coleman saved from Black.
Larne made sure of their much-needed victory when recent signing from Coleraine Noel Anderson got the third.
