Andy Crawford scored the winning goal for Institute

Mark McAllister had an early chance and Cuttmore had three first-half free-kicks saved by Dwayne Nelson.

After the interval, Rodney McAree went close for the Swifts with a free-kick and Cuttmore was twice denied by the woodwork before Crawford's winner.

The home side continued to threaten but were unable to add to their tally against the struggling Dungannon.
