Coleraine took the lead on 19 minutes when a Noel Anderson shot beat David Miskelly after Tommy McCallion had a shot blocked following a corner. Gary McCutcheon steered in the leveller
from Gareth McKeown's free-kick after 33 minutes while Davy O'Hare saved from Johnny Topley and John Convery.
Topley again tested O'Hare after the break while Coleraine's Darren Boyce went close for the Bannsiders.
Davy Patton missed two chances to score and Anderson drilled the ball wide.
