Shane Coney was on target for Armagh City |
Austin McCann scored a brace as Armagh were too good for Lisburn Distillery. Philip McBurney headed in from six yards out on 13 minutes despite the efforts of Philip Matthews and Shane Coney headed home the second after 26.
The Whites were reduced to ten men on 36 minutes when Darren Armour was red carded for an elbowing offence and McCann fired home after 59 minutes.
Substitute Nathan McConnell pulled one back on 80 minutes but McCann completed the rout in the dying seconds.
Matthews made an early save from Liam Cullen and then got on the end of McBurney's effort but the linesman ruled that the ball had crossed the line.
The Whites goalkeeper also got a hand to Coney's header but was again unable to stop it crossing the line.
Gary Browne had three chances for the lacklustre Whites but, after the break, McCann waltzed through the defence and scored his first.
