Goals from Gary Hamilton, Tim McCann, Colin Nixon and Kyle Neill gave leaders Glentoran the win needed to stay ahead of Cliftonville on goal difference. Hamilton scored the opener from McCann's pull back in the 62nd minute. Two minutes later McCann made it 2-0 with a superb lob over stranded Coleraine keeper Lawrence McCormick. Nixon netted a 68th-minute penalty after a John Neill hand-ball while Darren Boyce scored Coleraine's goal before Neill's late strike.
