Ballymena United made it back-to-back wins as they claimed a crucial away success at Armagh City. Davitt Walsh struck the Braidmen ahead from the penalty spot on 24 minutes after Mark Turkington had been adjudged to have handled.
Mark Picking missed a glorious chance to extend Ballymena's lead but sub Stephen Lowry did add the second goal with a breakaway effort on 55 minutes.
Jonny McSorley scored an injury-time penalty for Armagh.
The Armagh penalty was awarded after Simon Kelly had handled in the area.
Ballymena striker Kevin Kelbie was denied by Stuart Addis early on while Dungannon's Conor Forker hit straight at Paul Murphy at the other end of the field.
However, Walsh's penalty gave Ballymena a crucial advantage and the points looked secure when Craig McLean played in Lowry for the Braidmen's second goal 10 minutes into the second half.
The result was another boost for Ballymena after their 2-1 home win over Portadown last weekend.
Prior to last weekend, Ballymena had lost their previous six matches.
