Substitute Conor Forker scored the winner for Armagh City over Limavady United who replace them at the bottom of the Carnegie Premier League. Shane Coney found the former Glenavon and Dungannon forward on the edge of the box and he turned to shoot the 72nd-minute winner past Glen Millar.
Earlier David Hawthorne had slipped as a shooting chance came his way.
Millar then pulled off a good save from Terry Fitzpatrick in the 30th minute as Armagh pressed for an opener.
