Kieran O'Connor scored Cliftonville's winner at Solitude |
A brilliant goal by Kieran O'Connor lit up this Solitude clash and gave Cliftonville an important victory. A long ball was headed down by Chris Scannell and it fell for O'Connor who hit a 25-yard volley over keeper Dwayne Nelson for a 56th-minute winner.
The Reds had taken the lead after just two minutes when Francis Murphy volleyed in from Scannell's cross.
Dungannon equalised five minutes later as Niall McGinn got his first of the season from Mark McAllister's pass.
Cliftonville's win keeps them level on points with champions Linfield and Glentoran at the top of the Premier League table.
