Paul Curran's side led on two occasions at the Showgrounds |
Newry City fought back from a goal down on two occasions to claim a home point against Larne in Saturday's Carnegie League clash. Ross Black sidefooted the visitors ahead on four minutes after a mistake by Paul Doneghan.
However, Donegan's cross set up Stephen Garrett's equaliser on 29 minutes.
Andrew Dickson's pass set up Aaron Black to put Larne ahead on 76 minutes but sub Lee Feeney earned Newry's draw by blasting home Joe McDonnell's cross.
Tony Anderson missed two chances for Newry in the first half while Garrett also wasted a Larne opportunity.
Newry had the majority of the possession in the first half but Larne looked dangerous when they did get near the opposition goals.
