Ryan McIlmoyle converted two penalties for Limavady |
Institute fought back to claim a point in the derby clash after two Ryan McIlmoyle penalties had appeared to put Limavady in total control. McIlmoyle struck Limavady ahead from the spot in the 21st minute and he repeated the dose in the 49th minute.
Institute looked in real trouble at that stage with keeper Michael Doherty also struggling because of injury.
However, David Ogilby gave Stute hope with a 67th-minute penalty and Ryan Campbell levelled on 81 minutes.
Ogilby's penalty helped to make up for his first-half foul which conceded Limavady's opening penalty.
Campbell's equaliser came after his opening effort was blocked by Limavady keeper Glenn Miller but Campbell made no mistake with the rebound.
