Group C winners Cliftonville had to settle for a draw in their final match at Limavady Showgrounds. George McMullan ran through to score a 15th-minute opener after a fine pass from Francis Murphy.
Matthew Boyle broke clear to score Limavady's equaliser on 28 minutes and soon afterwards Barry Curran put United ahead at the back post from a corner.
Cliftonville got a deserved equaliser in the 66th minute, beating keeper Glen Miller after a corner.
