Bangor 0-1 Glenavon
Glenavon manager Colin Malone
Colin Malone's Glenavon have a one-goal advantage
Glenavon will take a one-goal lead into Tuesday's second leg of the Irish League promotion/relegation play-off.

Stepen Magennis headed the only goal of a nervy encounter at Clandeboye Park, getting on the end of a Gerard McMahon corner to score from four yards.

Premier League side Glenavon had the edge and deserved their victory.

But First Division runners-up Bangor almost snatched a draw late on when David Irvine shot into the side-netting and Andy Morrow fired wide.
