Crusaders have announced the signing of former Derry City skipper Eamon Doherty from Limavady United. The 32-year-old midfielder, who also had a spell with Coleraine, has signed a two-year-old contract with the Shore Road club.
Crusaders manager Stephen Baxter said Doherty was exactly the type of experienced player he wanted following the retirement of Jeff Spiers.
Baxter said he aimed to make several more signings during the close season.
