Donegal Celtic claimed Newry had leaked news of Flynn's move |
Donegal Celtic and Newry City have settled their row over Gerry Flynn and he will sign a contract to become head coach at the Showgrounds on Wednesday. It is understood that Celtic have accepted a cash offer for the defender, who joined DC earlier this month.
Celtic claimed that Newry broke an agreement to keep Flynn's transfer confidential before the two clubs met in a league game last Friday.
DC are also set to sign Bohemians pair John Bellew and Mark O'Brien on loan.
The loan deals, which will continue to the end of this season, came about after Celtic boss Paddy Kelly held discussions with Bohemians manager Sean Connor.
Kelly also said that he was glad that the Flynn issue had been concluded.
"It was not helpful to anyone to see Gerry left in limbo. We wish him every success in management," added Kelly.
